Introduction

in the process of accelerated urban development, the concept of quality of urban life is a missing link in all aspects of urban life. One of the most challenging issues in recent decades is the issue of urban regeneration and solving the challenge of worn and disordered urban structures. The main concern and issue of sustainable regeneration policy and approach is to improve the quality of life and welfare of citizens. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between sustainable regeneration policy and improving the quality of urban life and how it affects and provide a model for action in urban disarray. The worn and disordered texture of Kermanshah city with 1228 hectares covers about 12.33% of the total textures of Kermanshah city. These species are the old texture with historical value, 363 hectares (including 3.8% of the city area), the middle texture with urban background, 372 hectares (including 3.9% of the city area), the marginal texture with the history of informal settlement, 403 hectares (including 4.21% of the city area) Typology of Kermanshah city, marginal texture with rural background, 40 hectares (including 0.42% of the city area) that each of these species has its own challenges and problems and action in this texture Is a necessity for managers, experts and planners.The problem of this research is instability and poverty in dysfunctional and inferior tissues, which with the challenges and problems of livability, poverty and deprivation in all dimensions, decline of human dignity, identity crisis, lack of access to urban services, degraded quality of life The crisis of safety and resilience, insecurity and social anomalies, crimes and delinquency and non-realization of civil rights are gripping. Why policies and actions of urban management and urban development plans have not led to improving the quality of urban life in these neighborhoods.







Methodology

The present research is applied-developmental in terms of subject matter and purpose, and in terms of analysis is in the framework of explanatory and descriptive-analytical research methods, and survey, documentary and analytical methods have been used to collect and analyze data. . The research method is combined (quantitative and qualitative). In this study, according to the goals and facilities, the current situation information analysis and data modeling method has been used. In order to analyze the collected information, path analysis statistical techniques, SPSS, PLS.



Results and discussion

The overall effect of all dimensions of sustainable regeneration on the quality of urban life with an impact factor of 0.594 and its value of R2 is 0.352, which shows that by increasing a standard deviation in sustainable urban regeneration, the quality of urban life increases by 0.352 standard deviation. Also, the value of its R2 coefficient equal to 35.2% of the dependent variable changes (quality of urban life) has been explained by sustainable urban regeneration. At the 99% confidence level based on the results of the table, considering that the value of t-statistic is greater than 1.96, it can be said that sustainable urban regeneration has a significant and positive effect on the quality of urban life.



Conclusion

Sustainable regeneration has a significant effect on improving the quality of urban life in the dysfunctional tissues of Kermanshah. Sustainable urban regeneration has a significant and positive effect on the quality of urban life. Sustainable urban quality revitalization with a community-based, comprehensive and integrated approach with emphasis on quality of life as a new urban agenda can be a good program to meet the current needs of the city and its citizens.
